Planning
Most industrial type buildings will need planning consent and JSL Construction can assist and offer advice in helping you get planning for your building, be it a small farm building or large industrial building.
We use trusted third parties to provide scale plans and structural steelwork calculations.
Design
When you contact us to speak to us about your building we’ll discuss with you all your building requirements from its size, the materials you want to use, and the building's usage.
We design and fabricate our buildings at our workshops in North Yorkshire. Our buildings are made with hot-rolled steel which can be shot-blasted or galvanized.
Other materials include timber, galvanized steel purlins and supports, fibre cement sheeting, box profile steel sheeting, insulated composite panels, pre-stressed concrete panels & timber and steel doors.
We also use local companies for roller shutter and up and over doors.
Foundations and Groundworks
All our buildings are set on a concrete pad with holding down bolts to ensure a secure foundation to begin the build.
Erection of your building
This is done by JSL construction employees using time served building techniques and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Refurbishment
Refurbishments come in many different shapes and sizes. We can offer replacement of old cladding with new, we can also over-clad, replace gutters and roof lights, add mezzanine floors to existing buildings. Call us today to talk about your requirements 01765 603777.
Mezzanine floors and Staircases
Mezzanine floors are a great way to turn a building into a two-tier building. The increase is floor space makes for a variety of uses such as storage or office space. JSL can provide the full package; design/fitting of steelwork, fitting of timber supports, flooring work and fireproofing and design and manufacture of staircases.
